Gipson and Everett Set to Represent Temple at NCAA Regionals

PHILADELPHIA – Following two weeks of training after the ECAC Championships, Temple gymnastics senior Sahara Gipson and sophomore Jaylene Everett will compete in their first NCAA Regional. Gipson and Everett are Temple's first set of vault specialists to be selected to the event since 2005. Freshman Tori Edwards will also make the trip as a floor alternate. Hosted at Penn State, the University Park NCAA Regional will take place Saturday, April 7 set for a 4 p.m. start time.
ROTATION ORDER
> Everett will be competing in the first vault rotation after New Hampshire
> Gipson will compete in the fifth rotation after Penn State.

GIPSON
> Gipson has four individual vault titles this year, with a season-best 9.875 on March 11.
> She has not had a vault below 9.8 since the third week of the season, and has recorded eight-straight 9.8's or better.
EVERETT
> Everett recorded a season and career high 9.875 on vault on March 9.
> She has had four vaults reach 9.8 or higher this season.
EDWARDS
> Edwards posted a career high 9.9 on floor on March 9.
> She has had nine floor routines score a 9.8 or higher in 2018.
