Women's Basketball Signs Destiny Samuel for 2018-19

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple women's basketball team announced the signing of Destiny Samuel to a national letter of intent to join the Owls for the 2018-19 season.
DESTINY SAMUEL
> Samuel is a 6-2 post player out of Baldwin High School in Baldwin, N.Y.
> She led her high school team to the 2018 State Championship, as well as the state Federation title.
> Samuel played club basketball with Exodus NYC, where she most recently helped her team to the Rose Classic Championship.
STRONG CLASS
> Samuel adds another solid player to an already superb recruiting class for the Owls.
> She joins Marissa Mackins (5-8, G, Carolina Prep) and Alexa Williamson (6-1, F, Chartiers-Houston).
