Men's Basketball AAC Home and Away Opponents Released

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference has announced the men's basketball scheduling pairings for the 2018-19 season. Each team will play seven of its 11 opponents twice, and the four remaining opponents once each - two at home and two away.
Temple's 2018-19 home slate features UCF, UConn, Houston, Memphis, USF, Tulane and Tulsa, as well as Cincinnati and SMU who the Owls will face only at home. Temple's two road-only opponents are ECU and Wichita State.
Entering next season, 10 of the 12 teams in The American return more than 50 percent of their points and minutes from last season. UCF, Memphis and Temple all return more than 70 percent of their points from last season, while ECU, SMU and UConn join the aforementioned trio as bringing back at least 60 percent of their minutes from a year ago.
Three new head coaches – Dan Hurley at UConn, Penny Hardaway at Memphis, and Joe Dooley at ECU – join an already impressive lineup of coaches across The American.
