Women's Basketball Battles Tulane on Tuesday at Home

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team hosts Tulane at McGonigle Hall on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The Owls are playing back-to-back on their home court for the first time this season.

THE OWLS
> Temple is 4-9 on the season and started conference play 0-1 after a loss to USF on Saturday.
> Sophomore Mia Davis leads Temple on both ends of the floor, averaging 19.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
> Graduate student Alliya Butts is second on the team in scoring, with 15.0 points per game, while leading the Owls with averages of 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals per outing.
> Freshman Marissa Mackins (7.4 ppg), and sophomores Desiree Oliver (5.6 ppg) and Emani Mayo (5.1 ppg) also aid the Temple offense.
> Junior Shantay Taylor (4.4 ppg, 5.4 rpg) and freshman Alexa Williamson (4.7 ppg, 3.9 ppg) occupy the post for the Owls.

> Visiting USF dominated the offensive glass powering to a 63-53 win over Temple on Saturday.
