PHILADELPHIA – Jahlil White, a 6-7, 180-pound guard out of Wildwood (N.J.) Catholic, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Temple University, announced men's basketball coach Aaron McKie.

"We are very excited to welcome Jahlil to the Temple Basketball family," said McKie. "He is a long, athletic guard who can play both ends of the floor.  He is also a fine young man from a great family who will fit in very nicely with our program."

White, a native of Whitesboro, N.J., averaged 18.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a junior, helping lead Wildwood Catholic to the Cape Atlantic League title and the NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public A sectional championship. White contributed 10 points, five rebounds and three steals in that loss to a Ranney School team that finished the season ranked No. 1 in the NJ.com poll and No. 11 in the USA Today Super 25 rankings.

Temple (2-0) next travels to La Salle (1-0, plays tonight at Penn) on Saturday (2 pm/ESPN+/1210 AM WPHT).
