Shizz Alston, Jr. Leads Men's Basketball to 82-74 Win over SMU

PHILADELPHIA - With 28 points including 19 in the second half, senior guard Shizz Alston, Jr. led Temple men's basketball to an 82-74 win in a battle vs. SMU (12-12, 4-8). The Owls (18-7, 8-4), who earned their 10th home win, broke away in the final minutes of a game that saw nine ties overall.
Game Summary
> The first half stayed tight throughout, with five ties and neither team leading by more than two possessions.
