PHILADELPHIA— Temple men's tennis (6-6, 1-1 AAC) dominated Hofstra on Thursday morning, downing the Pride 7-0 at the Legacy Tennis Center.
Match Notes
> The Owls were strong throughout the contest this morning, beginning with doubles. The Owls swept all three matches, with wins from the pairs of Alberto Caceres Casas/Mark Wallner, Uladzimir Dorash/Paolo Cucalon and Francisco Bohorquez/Juan Araoz.
> Temple came out on top in each of the six singles contests. Wins from Cucalon in the No. 3 spot and Casas in the No. 1 spot gave the squad a 3-0 advantage.
> The Owls clinched the decision with Juan Araoz's win at fifth singles and built upon their lead with Wallner's victory at second singles.
> Temple rounded out the sweep with wins from Dorash in the No. 4 spot and Eric Biscoveanu at the No. 6 spot.
