MINNEAPOLIS – Senior Shizz Alston, Jr. represented Temple University well at the 2019 Reese's NABC College All-Star Friday afternoon at the US Bank Arena.
Playing for the West team, Alston started and scored 14 points, third highest on his squad, over 19 minutes of play in a 110-105 losing effort to the East. The Owls' co-captain took all nine of his shots from behind the arc, draining four, and added two-of-two from the line. He also grabbed two rebounds and dished two assists while not committing a turnover. He led his team with a plus-4 in the plus-minus column.
The West's Chris Clemons (25 points) and the East's Jesse Palmer, Jr. (21) led their teams in scoring and were named Players of the Game.
