Men’s Basketball Set to Depart for Bahamas Trip

PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's basketball coach Aaron McKie met with the media following Monday's practice to discuss the program's upcoming trip to the Bahamas.
The team departs on Friday, Aug. 2 and will play three games in five days at Kendall Isaacs Gym at the Queen Elizabeth Sports Complex in Nassau. It will mark the first-ever trip to the Bahamas for the Owls, and the first foreign trip by the program since 2013.
The Owls open with Commonwealth Bank Giants, a Bahamian Select Team, on Aug. 3 and then play them again on Aug 5 (7 pm). Temple closes the trip against a Nigerian National team on Aug. 6 (7 pm).
