Women's Basketball Adds Villanova to Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University women's basketball will open its season a little earlier than expected as the Owls will host Philadelphia Big 5 rival Villanova this Friday. The Dec. 4th contest will tip off at noon in McGonigle Hall and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The Owls were originally scheduled to open their 2020-21 campaign on the road at Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday, Dec. 6, but a schedule change for Villanova allowed for the Philly showdown to take place. Temple will still head to FGCU following Friday's game.
Due to limited indoor capacity numbers mandated by City officials, spectators will not be permitted to start the season.
