Men’s Basketball Announces Signing of Jeremiah Williams to NLI

PHILADELPHIA – Jeremiah Williams, a 6-5, 185-pound guard from Simeon HS in Chicago, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Temple University, announced men's basketball head coach Aaron McKie.
"We are pleased to welcome Jeremiah to the Temple Basketball Family," said McKie. "Jeremiah is a gifted athlete who comes from a wonderful family. He has a tremendous upside to his game and will fit in nicely with the culture of our program."
Williams, a native of Chicago, earned second team all-city honors last year at Simeon where he averaged 16.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 blocks per game in helping lead the Wolverines to a 24-9 record. As a junior, he averaged 18.3 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.5 blocks per game at St. Laurence (IL) High.
Williams joins incoming freshmen Nick Jourdain, a 6-8, 205-pound forward out of Covenant College Prep/Immaculate Conception High (N.J.), Quincy Ademokoya, a 6-6, 185-pound guard out of Norcross (Ga.) High, and Jahlil White, a 6-7, 180-pound guard out of Wildwood (N.J.) Catholic, and transfers Khalif Battle, a 6-5, 175-pound guard (Butler/Trenton Catholic (N.J.), Sage Tolbert, a 6-8, 210-pound forward (SE Missouri State/Fort Bend Travis (Tx.) to round out the Owls signees.
