Women’s Basketball Looks to Return to Win Column Saturday Against Wichita State

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple women's basketball returns to McGonigle Hall to host Wichita State on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. The conference matchup will be aired on ESPN+.
THE OWLS
> Temple enters Saturday's game with a record of 4-5 (4-2 AAC). The Owls are currently ranked third in the American Athletic Conference despite falling in their last two conference contests.
> The Owls are shooting 38.5% from the floor, 23.3% from three-point range, and 65.3% from the foul line thus far this season.
> Senior Mia Davis leads the Owls with 19.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. So far, the forward has recorded four double-doubles this season.
> Rookie Jasha Clinton is the Owls' second-leading scorer with 12.1 points per game, while adding 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals per game for the Cherry and White. Clinton leads Temple with 13 three-pointers on the year.
