Battle Named to Big 5 Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University sophomore guard Khalif Battle was named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Honor Roll for the week ending January 31. It is the first week he has been honored.
Battle recorded his first career double-double with personal bests of 22 points and 11 rebounds in the Owls win over Tulsa (Jan. 26). For the week he averaged 15.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.
Temple (4-5, 3-5 AAC) next hosts Cincinnati (3-7, 1-4 AAC) Thursday (7 pm/ESPNU/1210 AM WPHT).
