Battle Earns Weekly AAC and Big 5 Honors

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University sophomore guard Khalif Battle was named to the American Athletic Conference and Philadelphia Big 5 Honor Rolls for the week ending February 21.
Battle scored game-highs in back-to-back games while making his first starts of the season. The Butler transfer tallied 21 points (6-13 FG, 4-7 3PT, 5-6 FT) with a game-high seven rebounds in a loss at Tulsa (2/16). He followed that with a career-high 32 points (9-22, 4-10, 10-12) and game highs of 10 rebounds and five assists in a loss to USF (2/21). For the week he averaged 26.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 3.0 apg, 42.9 FG%, 47.1 3pt%, 83.3 FT%
