Dunn Named AAC Freshman of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University redshirt freshman Damian Dunn was named AAC Freshman of the Week for the week ending Feb. 7. This is the third time Dunn has been honored by the conference.
Dunn averaged 19 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the week, including a career-high 22 points in a loss at Wichita State. He also made a career-high 12-of-12 free throws against the Shockers.
The Kinston, N.C. native was also named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Honor Roll.
Temple (4-7, 3-7 AAC) next hosts ECU (87, 2-7 AAC) Thursday for the first game in a home-and-home series (12 pm/ESPNU/1210 AM WPHT).
