Carotenuto Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Temple field hockey goalkeeper Cristina Carotenuto was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league Monday. This is the second-straight week that Carotenuto has been tabbed.
The Allentown, Pa. native made 11 saves, including a season-high six on Sunday for a .733 save percentage. She allowed four goals for a 2.33 goals against average and led a defense that held Liberty to a season-low of two goals in back-to-back games.
The Owls will continue BIG EAST action this weekend with a home-and-home against Villanova, facing the Wildcats in Conshohocken, Pa. on March 6 and at Howarth Field on March 7.
