The 2020-21 All-Around MVP goes to Veronika Novakova!
A Prague, Czech Republic native, graduate student Veronika Novakova made an immediate impact on the Temple field hockey program. Two of her team-leading four goals have been game winners, including the game-winner in the season opener against Hofstra. Firing a team-leading 24 shots, she put 10 on target for a .417 shots on goal percentage. She also led the team in assists with five and shared penalty corner inserting duties with junior Nienke Oerlemans. Novakova was one of four Owls to earn postseason honors, earning a spot on the All-Conference First Team.
All-Around MVP is given to the person who generates the most for our team as a whole on both ends of the ball. Veronika was a unanimous selection by our team for her efforts all over the field!-- head coach Susan Ciufo
