How it Happened

> Temple absolutely dominated the next stretch of play. The Owls controlled the ball completely, firing off three shots and not committing a single foul while Manhattan was forced into a defensive crunch.

After the ball was deflected to the top of the box, Luka Kozomara played the ball to a wide-open Andres Charles on the left side of the net. Charles fired the ball towards the goal where it was saved by the keeper. Marques Antoine punched in the rebound to put Temple up 2-1.
> Only two minutes later, the Owls struck again. This time Griffith found a streaking Mike Eijgendaal who worked his way behind the defense and slammed the ball home for Temple's third goal of the match.
> In the 78th minute an incident led to two cards being issued on the Jaspers.
> Temple had one final scoring chance as time ran down. Alex Marin found Jalen Campbell in front of the cage who placed the ball on net, but it was turned away by Manhattan for a final result of 3-1 Jaspers.
