Dunn Named to AAC and Big 5 Honor Rolls

PHILADELPHIA – Temple redshirt freshman guard Damian Dunn has been named to the American Athletic Conference and Philadelphia Big 5 weekly honors for the week ending Jan. 30.
Dunn averaged 17 points and 5.5 rebounds in helping lead the Owls to a 1-1 week. The Kinston, N.C. native scored a game-high 18 points, including the game-winning shot with 36 seconds left, in leading Temple to a 66-62 win over Cincinnati on Jan. 25. The win snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Bearcats. Dunn followed that with a team-high 16 points in a 69-61 loss at SMU on Jan. 29.
Dunn currently leads Temple and ranks sixth in the AAC in scoring (15.4 ppg ) and free throw percentage (.849/3rd AAC).
The Owls (11-7, 4-3 AAC) next play at East Carolina (11-9, 2-6) on Wednesday (7 p.m./ESPN+/1210 AM WPHT). The Pirates campus is 30 miles from Dunn's hometown.
