Indoor Track & Field Releases 2022-23 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's track and field team is excited for the 2022-23 indoor season to begin. The Owls' will compete in eight events this season, with four taking place in New York City.
 
"The schedule is one of the most challenging we have had at Temple," head coach Elvis Forde said. "From the opening to St. John's, to our final meets at Clemson and Boston, they are all high-level meets. We are looking forward to the challenge in both the indoor and outdoor. Our schedule will get our athletes ready for the conference meet and hopefully regionals after that."

The Cherry & White open the indoor campaign with a trip to New York for the St. John's invite on December 3rd. The Owls than have over a month off before they cross the state for the Nittany Lion Challenge at Penn State on January 14th.

Temple will then embark on three straight meets in The Big Apple. First up is the Villanova Invitational on January 21st (hosted in Satan Island). The Owls will then head to the Dr. Sanders invitational (January 28), and then finally the Rutgers Invitational (February 2-3).

TU will then split the squad on February 10-11, with some heading north to the Valentine's Invitational in Boston, while some fly south to South Carolina to meet at the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson.

After an off week, TU begins its postseason with the AAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. From February 24-25.
 
A good showing at the conference championships could land Temple's athletes in Albuquerque, N.M. for the NCAA Track & Field on Mar 10-11.
