Khalif Battle Named to Big 5 Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA - Redshirt sophomore guard Khalif Battle was named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Honor Roll for the week ending Sunday, November 27.
Battle, averaged an American Athletic Conference best 22.7 points per game for the week, shooting 50% from the field, 14-31 (45.2%) from three and averaging 5.0 rebounds (2nd on team), 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.
He led Temple in scoring against Richmond with a season-high 26 points, and against Drexel (25 pts) in his first starts of season.  In his other game, he tallied 17 off the bench against St. John's.
The Owls (3-4, 1-0 Big 5) travel to The Palestra Wednesday (6 pm/NBC Sports Philly/ESPN+/1210 AM WPHT) to take on their former head coach, Fran Dunphy, and his La Salle Explorers (3-3, 0-1 Big 5).
