Wei and Uchijima’s ITA Fall National Championship Run Comes to Close

SAN DIEGO - Temple women's tennis doubles pair Jamie Wei and Maiko Uchijima ended their impressive run at the ITA Fall National Championship, falling to Jaedan Brown and Kari Miller of Michigan in the quarterfinals. Miller and Brown put an end to the Owls ten-match winning streak that started at the ITA Regional Tournament in late September.
In order to reach the quarterfinals, Wei and Uchijima played their way through the ITA Regional Tournament, earning four straight wins to qualify for Super Regionals, where they earned the Doubles Title after another four-win performance. Wei and Uchijima have now concluded their fall season with an impressive 10-1 record as a pair.

With this loss, the Owls have completed their fall season and will return to play in February.
