2.25.22 | Women's Gymnastics
Roland led Temple with a pair of career-high 9.925's on the vault and beam
RALEIGH, N.C. – For the second straight week, the Temple Owls gymnastics team was a resilient group as they rallied from behind in the final rotation of Friday's meet at No. 29 NC State. The Cherry and White defeated the Wolfpack in Reynolds Coliseum with the help of three program records, including a new overall record score of 196.675, while Wolfpack finished with a close 196.600.
"This team is extremely resilient! To come off of a tough meet at home last week and perform like this on the road the next weekend is a testament to that. There were so many incredible performances, event highs, personal records, and team records broken tonight! But above all- they functioned seamlessly as a team. I'm prouder of that than any record broken. This is a great TEAM!" said Head Coach Josh Nilson.
