PHILADELPHIA – Former Temple players Jaylen Bond and Colin Daly along with former Jefferson University women's basketball player Valez Jackson have joined the Temple University men's basketball staff as graduate managers, announced head coach Aaron McKie.
"We have had great success with our graduate manager program at Temple and Jaylen, Colin and Valez should strengthen our staff," said McKie. "All three bring a great work ethic and knowledge of the game that will provide support to our program behind the scenes."
Bond, who played two seasons for the Owls (2014-16), helped lead Temple to the NCAA Tournament as a senior, averaging 10.3 points and a team high 8.3 rebounds. The Norristown, Pa. native would later play professionally with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA D-League for one season (2016-17). He also played five seasons overseas.
Daly, a Havertown, Pa. native, played the last two seasons (2020-22) at Temple after transferring from West Chester University where he was a three-year letter winner.
Jackson, a Yeadon, Pa. native, played four seasons at Jefferson University (2015-19) and went on to serve as the head junior varsity and assistant varsity coach at Merion Mercy Academy (2020-21).
