Quotable
> "We knew today would be a challenge. We aren't able to come out on top in four of our five matches, as we fell short in too many bouts that were decided by a single touch. The team never backed down and stayed determined. After four losses to have a decisive victory over a strong NYU team showed that we are handling our emotions well and staying in the present. Our first-year foilist Renee has a breakout performance and Margherita also had an impressive day. Our next few weeks of training will build off the weekend's lessons we well be ready for our trip to the Northwestern Duals where we will have a few rematches!" – head coach Jennie Salmon
Next Up
> The Owls will get a week off of competition before heading to the Windy City for the Northwestern Duals on Feb. 4-5.
