Miller Named Big 5 Player of the Week, to AAC Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA - Hysier Miller of the Temple men's basketball team was named the Big 5 Player of the Week for the week of November 13-19. He was also named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll.
Miller averaged 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game while shooting a perfect 10-for-10 at the free throw line in a pair of games for the Owls. Against Columbia on Saturday, he poured in a career-high 29 points with a personal best five three-pointers and a season-high six assists. It was his third career game with 20 or more points. On Tuesday at Drexel, he scored a team-high 19 with a season-best six rebounds and went 6-for-6 at the line, four of them in the final 59 seconds as Temple defeated the Dragons 66-64 in its first Big 5 matchup of the year.
The Owls return to action on Wednesday, hosting Ole Miss at 3:30 p.m.
