PHILADELPHIA - The No. 11 Temple fencing team closed out the preseason on a strong note, with four top-8 finishes and 11 top-15 finishes. The Owls were led by Lindsey Minor (epee) and Elizabeth Novoseltseva (foil) who both tied for third in their respective weapons.

Meet Results
> Elizabeth Novoseltseva's tie for third place led the foilists, with Anastasia Yankovkiy (10th) and Anna Novoseltseva (12th) rounding out the top-15 foilists.
> Natalie Adams-Kim (foil) earned a 17th place finish while Gretl Merges (foil) placed 21st and Renee Oymann (foil) placed 24th).
> Freshman Lindsey Minor saw a third place finish and fellow epeeist Margherita Calderaro placed ninth.
> Cindy Long (epee) earned an 11th place finish after falling 15-11 to Minor in the Round of 16. Anne-Mai Melles (epee) placed 14th while Sara Proctor (epee) placed 24th.
> Alexandra Weinberg (fifth place) and Zoe Turner (eighth place) led the saberists, while Lauren Johnson's 12th place finish and Eva Ventura's 15th place finish round out the top-15 finishers.
> Arwen Gormely (sabre) earned a 17th place finish, Emma Pincus earned a 19th place finish, and Diana Tiburcio tied for 22nd place.
