Hofman Named to Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIAÂ - Temple University forward Sam Hofman has been named to the Big 5 Honor Roll for the week ending December 17.Â
Hofman scored a season-high 17 points, connecting on 75 percent of his shots from the floor against VCU on Saturday. He went 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, tying a personal best for made threes in a game. The Brussels, Belgium native also added four rebounds, two assists and did not commit a turnover.Â
The Owls return to action on Thursday when they face Nevada in the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. eastern time.Â
