Meet Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple track and field team looks to build off a strong season opening meet as the Owls compete at Lehigh University this Friday and Saturday. This will be the first multi-day event of the season for Temple.

Last Time Out
> Temple had a solid outing at the Youree Spence Garcia Meet to start the season.
> Pole Vaulter Allie Riches set a personal best, as a school record for the 8^th time in her Temple career. Riches jumped 4.10m to tie for first place at the event.
> Four Owls took first place in their respective events, Jade Pope (400m), Nya Browne (60m hurdles), Inara Shell (triple jump) and Obiamaka Igwenagu (long jump). All four are newcomers to the program.
> Browne, Liila Cottom, Igwenagu, and Riches set personal bests.

Previewing the Owls
> The pole vault team, consisting of Riches, Cierra Crane, Reece Sullivan, and Aliza White-Vega, will compete on Friday. Also competing on Friday will be Fiona Carter in the multis.
> Terran Bolton, Browne, Allyson Metzger, and Madison Trout will run in the 60m. Browne will also compete in the 60m hurdles.
> Bolton and Trout will run in the 200m dash. Laila Cottom and Jade Pope will run in the 500m as well.
> On the jumps side, Igwenagu, Metzger, Reagan Schwartz, and Inara Shell will compete in the long jump.
> Nicole Castor and Amira Green will jump in the high jump. Green is expecting to meet her season debut.
> Igwenagu, Schwartz, and Shell will compete in the triple jump.
