Khalif Battle Named Second Team NABC All-District

PHILADELPHIA - Redshirt sophomore guard Khalif Battle has been named to the 2023 NABC All-District 24 Second Team, it was announced today. The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I.
Battle, who missed the team's last five games, led the Owls and ranks fourth in the AAC in scoring (17.9 ppg) and third in three-pointers made per game (2.85/t36th NCAA). He also leads the conference in FT percentage (.896) and is 10th in the country.
He ended the season with a current streak of 34 consecutive made dating back to the team's win over South Florida (1/25). That is the third best mark in school history trailing Shizz Alston, Jr. (52 straight, 2017-18) and Lynn Greer (49, '00-01).
Battle scored in double figures in 23 games and topped 20 points a team-high 13 times.
