Men’s Tennis Muscles Past Rider in 7-0 Victory

PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's tennis (14-2) defeated the Rider Broncs (4-8) on Wednesday morning by a final score of 7-0. This victory pushed the men's tennis win streak to 14 games after starting the season off 0-2. The match was held at the TU Pavilion on Temple's campus for the first time this spring.

NOTES:

Marin Delmas and Gregoire Barety picked up the first doubles win of the afternoon from the second position of doubles play. Hussein El Tawil and Louis Gorregues followed from the third spot to give Temple the 1-0 lead early in the match.
With his win in doubles and from the first position of singles, Marin Delmas becomes 4^th all-time in program history with 76 total wins in his career with the Owls.
With a win in the fifth position, Hussein El Tawil earned his 10 singles victory of the spring. He is now 4-2 from both the fifth and sixth positions and 2-0 from the fourth.

The men's tennis team will have the rest of the week off before heading to Hampton, VA to face the Hampton University Pirates on Saturday, March 25 at 12:00 p.m. They will then head to Fairfax, VA to play George Mason the following day for a match beginning at 10:00 a.m.
