Men’s Tennis Defeats Georgetown 7-0 on Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's tennis (18-4) defeated the Georgetown Hoyas (10-8) on Friday afternoon, April 14 by a final score of 7-0 to earn their eighteenth victory of the spring on senior day.

The Owls will head to Orlando to face Wichita St. on Tuesday, April 18. They will then turn around and open play in the AAC Tournament beginning that Friday, April 21.
NOTES:
- Temple's Marin Delmas and Greg Barety started with a doubles victory from the second position followed by Hussein El Tawil and Louis Gorregues in the third. Temple gained the 1-0 lead and would never give Georgetown a chance to respond.
- Delmas picked up his second victory of the match in the first position of singles. He finished his match first followed by Hussein El Tawil in the sixth.
- With the win, Temple stays a perfect 13-0 while at home this season.
