ORLANDO, FL – Temple men's tennis (18-4) defeated conference opponent Wichita St. (11-15) by a final score of 4-3 on Tuesday afternoon, April 18 in Orlando, FL, before the AAC Tournament begins on Friday.

NOTES:

Both teams had a win in doubles play with all eyes turning to the third position. Temple's Louis Gorregues and Hussein El Tawil secured the point thanks to their 6-4 win over Wichita's Richey King and Alejandro Jacome.
The Owls' Leo Raquin picked up his 18^th singles victory of the spring from the second position to give Temple the 2-0 lead in the match.
Marin Delmas picked up his 17^th victory from the first position for the Owls, but Hussein El Tawil's performance in the sixth position clinched the winning point for Temple while beating the Shockers' Luke Bracks in three sets.
