Track & Field Set to Compete in Legendary Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple track and field team will compete in the Penn Relays from April 27-29. The Owls will have at least one athlete participating on each of the three days.
The event will be streaming on FloTrack, Tickets are available to purchase at PennRelays.com.
Last Time Out
> Temple competed at the Virginia Challenge Friday and Saturday.
> Chidumga Nkulume and Laura Nicholson starred, recording outstanding times in the 400m and 800m respectively.
Previewing the Owls
> Laura Nicholson will be the lone Owl competing on Thursday. She will run in the 1500m, at 5:40.
> Friday will begin at 12:35 pm with the 4x100m. Chelby Elam, Nkulume, Lauren Greig, and Madison Trout will race for Temple.
> Elam, Marrisa White, Greig, and Kwanda Knight will hit the track next in the 2x200m at 2:20.
> Amira Green will be competing in the high jump at 4:00 p.m.
> The Owls will resume relay competition at 6:05 p.m. Elam, Greig, Nkulume, and Elvira Bredin will run in the Spring Medley Relay.
> Knight, White, Greig, and Nkulume will run in the 4x400m relay to close out the day at 6:55 p.m.
> On Saturday, Allie Riches and Tannekee Strachan will compete in the pole vault in the triple jump, respectively, both at 2:30.

> Temple will head to Tampa for the AAC outdoor championships from May 12-14.
