Track & Field Concludes Weekend at 127th Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple track & field team followed up a strong start at the 127th running of the Penn Relays with a solid final day. This was the final day of regular season competition prior to the AAC Outdoor Championships in two weeks.
> Temple heads to South Florida for the AAC Outdoor Championships from May 12-14.
- Program record holder Tannekee Strachan did not compete in the triple jump as scheduled due to illness.
- Star pole vaulter Allie Riches finished tied for 10th with a mark of 3.88m (12-8 ½ ft).
- The 4x100m team of Chelby Elam, Chidumga Nkulume, Lauren Greig, and Madison Trout finished fifth in the college championship with a time of 46.76.
- The 4x400m team of Kwanda Knight, Marrisa White, Nkulume, and Laura Nicholson recorded its best time of the season, recording a time of 3:44.17 to also finish fifth.
