Men’s Basketball to Face UAlbany in the NABC Brooklyn Showcase

PHILADELPHIA – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), which has assumed rights to the Brooklyn Invitational from the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, released the teams for the newly-branded NABC Brooklyn Showcase and Temple will take on UAlbany in the final game of a quadruple header on Dec. 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
"We are excited to travel to Brooklyn and play in 2023 NABC Brooklyn Showcase at The Barclays Center.," said Temple head coach Adam Fisher. "It will be a great opportunity for our New York alumni and all our Temple fans to come watch us play in an NBA arena against a really good Albany team."
The NABC Brooklyn Showcase will feature eight Division I men's basketball programs from across the country, representing many of the sport's top conferences. Matchups for the NABC Brooklyn Showcase include:
Fordham vs. North Texas (11:30 a.m. ET)
Miami (Fla.) vs. Colorado (2:00 p.m. ET)
St. John's vs. Boston College (4:30 p.m. ET)
Temple vs. UAlbany (7:00 p.m. ET)
Tickets for the NABC Brooklyn Showcase will go on-sale via Ticketmaster and Barclays Center Box Office via presale on Tuesday, Aug. 15 and general public sale on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Broadcast designations will be announced soon.
"The NABC is committed to advancing college basketball, and we are honored to assume oversight of one of the sport's premier early season events," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "We look forward to hosting this impressive field of eight programs at the iconic Barclays Center and providing a world-class experience for participants and fans alike."
