Women's Rowing Kicks Off Fall Season at Navy Day Regatta

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's rowing team kicks off its fall 2024 season, competing in the annual Navy Day Regatta on Sunday, October 13 on the Schuylkill River.
2023 NAVY DAY REGATTA
Racing nine boats in four different events, the Owls turned in early season quality performances with a win in the Freshman 8+ and a pair of top-five finishes in the Collegiate 4+.
TEMPLE HISTORY AT THE NAVY DAY REGATTA
TU has enjoyed success at the regatta in the past decade, winning the JV8+ in 2022, the pair in 2019, freshman 4+ in 2016 and a trio of races in 2015. The Owls have medaled in each of the last six Navy Day Regattas they have entered.
UP NEXT
Temple returns to the water on Saturday, October 26 when it competes at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
