Men’s Tennis Ready for ITA Northeast Regionals

PHILADELPHIA - This weekend, Oct. 17-21, the Temple Men's Tennis Team is ready for the ITA Men's Northeast Regional hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Hamlin Outdoor Tennis Center.

Temple is sending six Owls and the maximum number of entries to the city to participate in the tournament. In singles, Aayush Bhat and Martim Marujo will compete in the main draw, while Erden Er, Adam Kresina, Maj Najvirt Kolaric, and Pranav Nemani will enter the singles qualifying rounds.

In doubles, Martim Marujo will pair with Adam Kresina, Pranav Nemani with Aayush Bhat, and Erden Er with Alberto Blumenschein as they compete in the main draw.

SCOUTING TEMPLE:

Martim Marujo: Opened the fall 2024 season strong in doubles with Kresina, winning the top flight doubles crimson draw in the Saint Joseph's Invitational with three victories, including 6-1 wins over Franklin & Marshall's C. Gervais/T. Hicks. He finished with four doubles wins and a 1-1 singles record.
Adam Kresina: Began the fall 2024 season successfully, teaming with Marujo to win the top flight doubles crimson draw in the Saint Joseph's Invitational with three wins, including 6-1 wins over Saint Joseph's J. Agbo/S. Valle. He concluded the tournament with four doubles victories and a 1-1 singles record.

UP NEXT
The Owls will return to action next week, as they will head to Houston for AAC Fall Championships. Tournament play will begin Thursday (Oct. 24) and close Monday (Oct. 27).
