Women's Rowing Returns to the Water at the Head of the Schuylkill

PHILADELPHIA - After a weekend off from racing, the Temple women's rowing team gets back in the water, staying close to home, competing in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, October 26.
LAST TIME OUT
The Owls last competed at the Navy Day Regatta on Sunday, October 13. The Varsity 8+ turned in an eighth place performance out of 24 boats while the JV8+ placed seventh in its event.
2023 HEAD OF THE SCHUYLKILL
Temple found some early season success as the Varsity 8+ was the top collegiate boat in the Championship Eights, finishing ahead of local rivals Drexel. La Salle, Delaware and Villanova. The Freshman/Novice 8+ won its race with a time of 14:01.331. In the Club Championship 8+, the Cherry and White took home a pair of top-10 finishes in the 42-boat competition.
UP NEXT
The Owls are back in action on Sunday, November 3 when they compete in the prestigious Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie.
