Results

HUMACAO, P.R. – The Owls fell to 12th place after the final day of the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate. The team had a combined team score of 287 (-1), their best of the tournament, but it wasn't enough to make up ground and they finished one-overall. The story for the Owls today was senior Graham Chase who carded a four-under, 68, good for the 3rd best overall score in the final round.

Recapping the Day

Chase led the Owls with a total score of 214 (-2). His four-birdie front nine helped him card the lowest single day score for the Owls in the tournament. Chase finished the tournament t-21^st for individuals.
Sophomore Aidan Emmerich finished up the final day with a 73. Giving him an overall score of 215 (-1), good for t-30^th in the tournament.
With the help of his eagle on hole 3, Junior Joey Morganti shot his tournament best one-under 71 in the final day in Puerto Rico.
Junior Ethan Whitney and Junior Michael Walsh rounded out the day with a pair of 75's.

The Field

Arkansas ran way with the tournament with their eight-under overall team score in day three. They finished the three-day skid 27-under par, seven strokes better than the second place UNCG.
Michigan's Hunter Thomson won as an individual. He shot by far the best round of the tournament with an eight-under 64, helping him finish -15

Up Next
The Owls will head back into the states to compete in the Wexford Intercollegiate. The two-day tournament will be held at Wexford Plantation Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C., from Feb. 19-20.
