HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Owls are set to compete in the two-day, 17-team, Wexford Intercollegiate this Monday and Tuesday. The tournament will be held at 6884-yard, par 72, Wexford Plantation in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The tournament is hosted by Francis Marion University. 
 
Previewing the Tournament
  • Senior Graham Chase led the Owls in their first tournament of the spring with a score of two-under, placing him t-21st overall. He is coming off of his impressive four-under round of 68 in the final day of the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate. 
  • Sophomore Aidan Emmerich continues to lead the Owls in scoring average with a 72.1. He leads the team in top-20 finishes (5), top-10 finishes (4), and top-5 finishes (2). 
  • Junior's Ethan Whitney, Michael Walsh, and Joey Morganti all participated in the previous tournament in Puerto Rico. Morganti finished with two rounds at even-par or better giving him an overall score of 220, third best on the team. 
 
The Field 
  • Along with tournament host, Francis Marion, the field will include Appalachian State, East Carolina, Dayton, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, High Point, Mercer, Presbyterian College, Radford, Richmond, Samford, S. Carolina -Aiken, Winthrop, Xavier, and Cleveland State.
