PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's tennis team (5-9) fought an impressive battle against No. 54 University of Pennsylvania (11-7), coming up short on Friday afternoon, 4-2. This was the Owls' last road opponent for the next five matches.

NOTES:

After falling in doubles and the fourth and sixth position of singles, the Cherry and White came back and secured victories in the first and fifth positions. From the first, Dante Russo snagged a win from Penn's Graziani, 6-4, 6-5. Adam Kresina dominated Bharadwaj with a score of 6-3, 6-3 from the fifth. This marks Kresina's seventh straight singles point. Gregoire Barety and Martim Marujo were the final two standing after the rest of the Owls finished, both battling in competitive three-set matches. Barety came up short in the final set, which nullified the remainder of Marujo's match.
