- Although Maiko Uchijima/Vineetha Mummadi came close to topping the Tribe duo of Davis/Vaissaud, their match was incomplete as W&M took the doubles point.
- Marianthi Christoforidou achieved the sole victory for the Owls in singles action. From the fifth position and fifth to finish, the first-year Owl earned her victory against Anghel in a thrilling 6-4, 1-6, 10-6 match. Jessie Zheng also played a tight match as she saw a draw after two sets, causing a tie breaker.
