Miller Named to Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA - Hysier Miller of the Temple men's basketball team has been named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll for the week of February 26-March 3.Â
Miller averaged 17.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game in a pair of contests for the Owls. He also shot 50 percent (11-for-22) from the floor and 9-for-16 from beyond the arc. Against Tulsa, he netted 19 points and tied a career-high with five treys, also coming away with four assists and two steals. At Rice on Wednesday, he led Temple with 16 points and dished four assists and had four steals. Overall, he only committed one turnover in 77 minutes through the two games.
The Owls return to action on Thursday, hosting UAB. Tipoff from the Liacouras Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. with the game being aired on ESPN2.
