AIKEN, S.C-  Temple finished their first two rounds of the tournament today in 7th place out of the 15-team field. The Owls collectively shot a 17-over, 577. Junior Joey Morganti is tied for fifth place overall with a score of one-under par.Â

- The Owls have the second most pars through the first two rounds with 117, one less than leading Davidson.Â
- Morganti leads the Owls through the first two days shooting a 68 in his first round and a 71 in the second. He had 6 birdies through the 36-holes played. He is also tied for the 2nd best scoring average on par 5s for the tournament, shooting three-under.
- Ethan Whitney had the second-best overall scores for the team on the day, shooting a a pair of 73s. His score of six-over is tied for 29th overall.Â
- Aidan Emmerich (147), Michael Walsh (148), and Graham Chase (149) rounded out the scoring for the Owls. Chase had 25 pars throughout the day, placing his tied for the fifth most of the field.Â

- Tournament host South Carolina Aiken and East Carolina are tied for the team lead through two rounds with a five-over, 565.Â
- Individually, Will Davis of Davidson is the leader, shooting a seven-under, 133. He shot a 67 in the first round and then carded the low score of 66 in round 2.Â
