Men's Tennis to take on Monmouth on Tuesday Morning

PHILADELPHIA- Temple men's tennis (6-11) will face off against the Monmouth Hawks (15-3) on Tuesday, April 9 at 11 a.m. This is the final match the Owls will host at the Hamlin Tennis Court.

THE OWLS
- Temple will face the Monmouth Hawks after breaking its losing streak against Hampton on Sunday. Aside from one singles match, the Owls dominated the Pirates with a 6-1 final score.
- Adam Kresina, a first-year Owl, has led the team in singles throughout the season. He enters the week with eight dual match victories.
- Dante Russo and Pranav Nemani hold the most doubles wins with a total of three.
- In the fall, Temple sent two student-athletes to Tulsa, OK to participate in the ITA-All American Championship Tournament: Gregoire Barety and Dante Russo.
- As a team, the Owls kept busy in the fall. They participated in the Penn Invite playing the likes of the University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth, Liberty from Sept. 15-17, the ITA All-American Championship Tournament in Oklahoma from Oct. 1-3, and both Navy Invitationals from Oct. 15-17 and Nov. 9-11.

Scouting the Hawks
- Monmouth upholds a 15-3 overall and a 2-1 conference record.
- The Hawks will enter the match off of a three game winning streak.
- Gabriel Berner has earned seven singles victories, achieving the team high.
- Diego Laporta / Gabriel Busato have 10 dual doubles wins under their belt.
