Temple Cross Country Teams are Ready to Race at Haverford College

PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's and women's cross country are set to race Friday evening at Haverford College for the Main Line Invitational. Following a top ten performance at Penn State, the men's team looks to build as they head into this week's race. The women's 5K will start at 4:45 p.m. and the men's 4 miles at 5:30 p.m.

Previewing the Owls
- Five men and women will be representing the Owls at this week's race.Â
- Temple men's had a stronger performance at Penn State finishing 8th overall. Junior Graham Thomas ran a season-best (25:44.5) placing 30th. Thomas was joined in the top 50 by David Troy (32nd) and Mattia Zen (50th).
- Freshman Amelia Sabatino delivered another strong performance at the Harry Grove Spiked Shoes Invitational last week with an impressive 5k race.
- Top runners Elsa Chan and Graham Thomas will not be competing this week.Â
The field
- The Owls will be accompanied by nine other schools, having previously raced some of them during their season-opening home invitational.
