Gymnastics Tops LIU in EAGL Conference Opener

BROOKLYN, NY – The Owls secured a victory in their dual meet against LIU, delivering strong performances across all rotations. Hannah Weklar led the Bars with a 9.675, while Kyrstin Johnson topped Vault with a 9.800. - Breanna Varano led the way on the Bar for her team, finishing with a score of 9.525. Amanda Scheuerman followed closely behind, posting a 9.400.
- Mariella Brueck earned a solid 9.650, and Hannah Weklar topped the group with the highest score of the day, 9.675.
- Sarah Stallings also contributed with a 9.125. Kyrstin Johnson scored an 8.050 in the event, rounding out the group.
ROTATION 2 (VAULT: 48.275)
- Nikki Rengifo led the team on vault, posting a 9.675, while Kyrstin Johnson earned the highest score for the Owls with a 9.800.
- Harmony Haro scored a solid 9.600, and Amelia Budd finished with a 9.650.
- Renee Schugman followed closely with a 9.550, and Hannah Weklar wrapped up the event with a 9.200.
ROTATION 3 (FLOOR: 48.425)
- Madison Dorunda posted a solid 9.675 on floor, contributing to the team's overall performance.
- Hannah Weklar led the Owls with a 9.725, while Kyrstin Johnson and Summer Ruskey both recorded scores of 9.625. Renee Schugman earned a strong 9.775, marking the highest score for the Owls on floor.
- Brooke Donabedian rounded out the group with a 9.600, matching her previous performance on the apparatus.

- Megan White led the team on the balance beam, posting a solid 9.800.
