Ford Recognized by American with Weekly Honorable Mention Nod

IRVING, Texas – After two solid performances this week against La Salle and Boston College, senior Derrian Ford was named to the American Conference's Men's Basketball Weekly Honorable Mention list.

Ford put together a solid week for the Owls, highlighted by a 22-point showing against La Salle - one point shy of a career-high. The Arkansas native followed this with an 18-point outing against Boston College, where Ford tallied a season-high nine rebounds while contributing eight of his points at the free throw line.

Temple men's basketball will next close its four-game homestand against Hofstra on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from the Liacouras Center. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m., with tickets being available for purchase by visiting OwlsTix.com.
