Gymnastics Earns Fourth Place Finish at Women in Sports Meet

PHILADELPHIA – The Owls secured a fourth-place finish at the Women in Sports meet with a team score of 194.175, just behind New Hampshire (194.200). George Washington claimed the top spot with a 195.400, while Towson finished second with a 195.375. The Owls put together a strong performance across all four events, finishing ahead of LIU (190.250) in a competitive field.

ROTATION 1 (VAULT: 48.500)
- On Vault, Amelia Budd earned the team's highest score with an impressive 9.775, while Nikki Rengifo followed closely with a 9.750.
- Renee Schugman contributed a strong 9.725, and Hannah Weklar and Kyrstin Johnson each tallied a 9.625.
- Harmony Haro rounded out the rotation with a solid 9.600.
ROTATION 2 (BARS: 48.300)
- Sarah Stallings led the team on Bars with a strong 9.850, while Weklar followed with a 9.675.
- Megan White and Reese DeHaan added solid scores of 9.650 and 9.575, respectively.
- Breanna Varano contributed a 9.550, and Mariella Brueck rounded out the rotation with an 8.825.
ROTATION 3 (BEAM: 48.475)
- Madison Dorunda led the team on Beam with an impressive 9.825, while Schugman followed closely with a strong 9.750.
- Robyn Dunne contributed a solid 9.700, and White added a 9.625.
- Summer Ruskey and Brooke Donabedian rounded out the rotation with scores of 9.575 and 9.500, respectively.
ROTATION 4 (FLOOR: 48.900)
- The Owls closed out the night strong on Floor, with Ruskey and Donabedian leading the way, scoring a 9.825.
- Schugman followed closely with a 9.800, while Johnson added a solid 9.750.
- Dorunda and Haro rounded out the final rotation with scores of 9.700 and 9.675, respectively.
